Morning (Black and) White
Not every sunrise can be colourfully amazing. I seem to keep missing those, at least with my camera. Today had enough colour to make you go “oh wow” but not enough to actually work in a photo.
So, sucking all the colour out of the capture seemed the way to go. This is a black and white conversion of Altona Pier in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, about 15 minutes after sunrise just as the golden light was starting to hit the pylons.
Side note, sunrise is reeeeeeeeally early at the moment... c'mon Daylight Savings!
