Nature Challenge: Bamboo

I’m a total sucker for bamboo - I’ve got some clumping Slender Weaver at home as a screen and I already know how gorgeously it can collect the rain. The small young plants on the island were strong enough to support the odd light raindrops, and looks as good as the bamboo at home.

Wandering around Iririki Island after the showers last week gave some great opportunities to take a closer look at the landscape on the island.
